Caring for Your Screen Printed Fabrics

At TreeKid, we use only natural fabrics and dyes, and water based-inks, by following these instructions will help the colours maintain their richness longer, keeping your pieces looking bright and fresh, here are a few care tips:

Before washing your garments, it is important to always check the individual care label attached.

Wash inside out, turn your garment inside out before washing to protect the print.
Use cold water, cold water helps preserve the vibrancy of the inks and is better for the environment.
We highly recommend eco-friendly detergents that are kind to both your clothes and the planet which don’t contain any nasty or harsh chemicals.
Line dry, whenever possible, air dry your garments to save energy and extend their life.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure that may cause loss of your garments original colours.
